Garmin's GXM 30 Smart Antenna works with your compatible Garmin navigator to deliver XM Satellite Radio and XM's NavTraffic service right to your vehicle. The GXM 30 processes all XM signals, and sends the finished product to your Garmin navigator. Along with your standard navigation functions, you'll get the endless variety XM has to offer, plus up-to-the-minute information on traffic flow along your programmed route. XM Satellite Radio offers more than 150 channels of continuous programming including 67 commercial-free music channels, and 63 channels of News, Sports, Talk and Entertainment. There are also 21 channels devoted exclusively to XM Instant Traffic and Weather. XM Weather, an included service of XM NavTraffic, provides basic weather data information including Current Conditions, 5-to-7 Day City Forecast, and Severe Weather Alerts.

Powered by NAVTEQ Traffic, XM is the nation's first satellite-based data traffic information service that enables a vehicle's on-board GPS navigation system to display current traffic information for select metropolitan areas, including the driver's chosen route. XM NavTraffic can display real-time traffic flow information (including the actual traffic speed data in some cases); unscheduled traffic incident data (such as accidents, disabled vehicles, and weather-related issues); and scheduled traffic incident data (such as road construction and road closures).

Garmin GPS compatible: This XM satellite radio antenna is compatible with most Garmin GPS receivers including: GPSMAP units 376C, 396, 378 and 478; and StreetPilot models 2730, 2820, 7200 and 7500.

Traffic, weather and more: This antenna allows your unit to receive and display marine, aviation and automotive weather information as well as XM traffic to compatible units. Also, get the most out of XM by connecting to their huge musical selection. Subscriptions to individual XM services are required (sold separately).
